WHY COMPETE?

Competition in HOSA is a great way to become immersed in healthcare. By competing in one of the many competitions that HOSA officers (see links below), members can experience how it feels like to be involved in healthcare. Due to the world's growing demand for healthcare professionals, HOSA at UTA promotes participating in HOSA's competitive events to gain critical healthcare experience that is useful for one's future career.

Additionally, competition is a great way of making connections to those in the healthcare field and a great addition to one's resume. Along with competition also comes many scholarships at state and international levels.
